Did you know that one person dies every 19 minutes from prescription drug abuse in the United States according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)? The Georgia Prescription Drug Abuse Prevention Initiative of The Council on Alcohol and Drugs, funded by the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, (DBHDD) invites you to join us to turn the tide of this epidemic and use the tools above to educate others about the dangers of Rx and OTC drugs and the importance of safely storing and securely disposing of these drugs.
